         ELAC and AAPAC 2016-2017

Role of the School Site Council (SSC): The School Site Council is an elected group of teachers, parents/guardians, students, and other certificated and classified employees who work with the Principal and ACII to develop, review, evaluate and advise on funds for school programs and school budgets.  Members of the SSC have an opportunity to participate in the design and implementation of programs and activities such as home-school compacts, parent training and volunteer participation (Ed Code 54425 (a, b)).  The SSC must approve the Title I budget for the SPSA and advises on the LCAP 419 spending. The SSC also elects a parent representative for the District Advisory Council (DAC).

The AAPAC and ELAC act as an advisory board to the development of the SPSA and school policies, procedures and events.  Members of the SSC have an opportunity to participate in the design and implementation of programs and activities such as home-school compacts, parent training and volunteer participation.  ELAC and AAPAC also elect a parent representative for the DELAC and DAAPAC (District committees).

  • ELAC: 1:30pm – 2:30pm in C-3
  • SSC: 2:30pm – 3:30pm in C-3
